There are multiple reasons for why Brasilia illustrates the theme of interaction. Well there's really just one, but I don't know how else to open my answer. Anyway, we modified our environment. We took the wilderness and modified it in order to build this city, In other words, we adapted to our environment by building, and by building, we were modifying. And after all our trouble, it was a success, and we finished building.
There are three main ways to describe Human-Environment Interaction; Humans either modify, adapt to, or depend on their environment. In this case the people of Brasil modified the land to create their capital city. They had to wor with a bare plateau and create a suitable living environment for their citizens with it. After they built the city they might have had to adjust to the high altitude of the plateau and they depend on it for the location of their government buildings.
